Always with the road trips

After reading conflicting information as to how long BLS would hold our passports/visas for pickup, plus several phone and email attempts to get in touch with someone at the BLS office to confirm, we decided to play it safe, clear our calendars, and head down to Miami a week earlier than we had planned. As luck would have it, this meant picking up our Spanish visas on Shannon’s 51st birthday.

It was a whirlwind visit, but thankfully much less stressful than our first visa appointment. We enjoyed a celebratory dinner on the waterfront (as a tiny baby crocodile lurked nearby on the patio) and met up the next morning with a sweet friend/former neighbor and two of her adorable kiddos before jumping back in the car and heading back home.
