We’re HEEERE!!!

We arrived in Valencia on Sunday evening (20 Oct). It’s surreal that we’re back AND we’ll be residing here for an entire YEAR. Holy cannoli! What a dream come true!

Yesterday, Rhys said, “It already feels like our time here is passing too quickly,” and I could completely relate. Time seems to be flying by at a rapid rate and we’re trying to soak everything in. We’re here to slow down, focus on our mental and physical health, nurture our creative spirits, and discover what it’s like living in another country (and on another continent!!).

Only a short 10-minute walk from our apartment, we’ve visited the Mercat Central Valencia (the largest fresh produce market in Europe) several times for delicious fruits and veggies. We’ve also been taking 2-3 daily walks to wander and experience the sights and sounds of this vibrant city.

This place is absolutely beautiful. We feel so lucky and grateful.
