More documents have arrived!
Our background checks are complete! Rhys found an awesome guy in Knoxville who handled the apostilling and translating of our FBI background checks. Approximately three weeks after we hired him, we had the official documents in our hands. Amazing! Truth be told, the background check process went way more smoothly and quickly than we anticipated (in fact, it was THE thing we were most worried about getting in time) and we are thrilled to check that item off our list!
Plus:
We got our official marriage certificate and apostille from Minnesota and can now send it off to be translated into Spanish.
Doctor’s appointments to obtain signatures for the medical certificate have been scheduled for May 13.
A private healthcare insurance provider has been contacted for a quote.
Two copies of the National Visa Form and Non-Lucrative Residence Authorization Form have been printed and will be filled out and signed.
On deck:
Obtain private healthcare insurance.
Fill out visa applications.
Obtain new passport photos.
Photocopy and notarize passport photo page and driver’s licenses.
Book hotel and flight to Miami.
We’re getting things DONE, y’all!
