New Orleans for the holidays

We spent a few days in New Orleans over the Christmas holiday. The city rejuvenates, inspires, baffles, pokes fun at and enamors us beyond description. As always, the Big Easy provides elixir for all that ails us. Our visit included riding the St. Charles streetcar, wandering around the French Quarter and French Market, taking a ghost tour, enjoy a muffaletta sandwich from Central Market, and indulging in a fair number of beignets.
